Current approach
The website keeps optional third-party media blocked until you choose to allow it. Rejecting optional media does not prevent access to the articles, artist information or ordinary links to YouTube and Spotify.
Essential security technology
The hosting and delivery infrastructure may use strictly necessary security technologies. Cloudflare may set a cookie named __cf_bm to distinguish legitimate visitors from harmful automated traffic. Cloudflare describes this cookie as necessary for its bot-protection services and states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Essential security technologies cannot be disabled through the website’s optional-media controls.
Consent preference
The website stores your external-media choice in local browser storage under ifr_external_media_consent_v1. It contains only your accepted or rejected choice and the time it was saved. This is used solely to remember the privacy choice you requested and is renewed after no more than twelve months.
Optional YouTube and Spotify media
If you allow external media, the website can load YouTube and Spotify players. Those providers receive technical request information and may place or read cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. YouTube is loaded through youtube-nocookie.com, its privacy-enhanced embed domain. Spotify states that its embedded widgets use cookies and similar technologies. No YouTube or Spotify frame is loaded while external media remains rejected.
Analytics
No Google Analytics, advertising tracker or Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon is currently installed. If optional analytics is added later, this policy and the available controls will be reviewed before activation.
Change or withdraw your choice
You can reopen the privacy choices at any time using the button below or the “Privacy settings” control in the footer. You can also clear this website’s local storage and cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent prevents new optional players from loading; provider data already processed is governed by the relevant provider’s policy.
